It .with great sorrow that we gather in this place to embrace the many life memories of our beloved Leroy Williams, JR. The memories that we share today shall forever linger in our hearts. The abiding love that we shared as family established our beloved brother and father's legacy for generations to come.

Leroy Williams, JR, the son of the late Leroy Williams, Sr. and the late Mary Hines Williams, was born on August 16, 1939, in the community of Millen, Georgia. After attending public school, Leroy soon ventured away from home to find his station in life.

He discovered his niche in life in the beauty of nature. He loved roses and the color gray; maybe, from the stones used in landscaping. For many years, while residing in the state of Florida, he was among management in the grounds-keeping department at a golf course. Leroy was a businessman. His management skills were easily adaptable to a roofing company and other endeavors.

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, our beloved Leroy Williams, Jr. peacefully went home to be with the Lord. He passed away at his residence in Milledgeville, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Thomas Williams and James Williams, sisters Kaylester Williams-Murry and Emma Lee Cook, and great-grandchild Mia Alexis Owens.

Survivors include: his children, Janet Williams Baker, Peggy Williams Walter (David) and Nancy Williams; sisters, Carrie Williams and Esther Mae Williams; devoted grandson, Cory McDowell; six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren; among his nieces and nephews, two special nieces, Rose Mary (Sug) Williams and Mary Alice Bentley (Dooly Banks); and, a host of other relatives also survive.
