For I knew that if this old earthly body gave out, that I had a building from God, eternal in the heavens, not made by man's hands. I have overcome the world because my faith did not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God. Thank you, Father, that by your stripes I am healed.

Mr. Joseph Thomas, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Milledgeville, GA, departed this life on May 10, 2025. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 185 Northside Drive SW, Atlanta, GA 30313.

Mr. Thomas leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Roberta Thomas; his son, Deontae Thomas; and three daughters: Latoshia Green, Angielene Thomas, and Deirdre Thomas- Watson. He is also survived by one brother, Alfred Thomas; one sister, Louise Hindsman; two great-aunts; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandnieces, nephews, and several devoted friends.
