OBITUARY ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with profound sadness that J.H. Jones Funeral Home & Cremations announces the passing of Mr. Francis G. Garrison of Milledgeville, Georgia. Mr. Garrison entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.

Mr. Garrison is survived by his loving aunts, Ms. Christine Banks of Milledgeville, Georgia, and Ms. Diann (Albert) Scott of Pooler, Georgia; and his cousins, Billy (Genny) Burks Jr. of Milledgeville, Georgia; Annette (Frank) Moss of Milledgeville, Georgia; Janice (Alvin) Torrance of Jonesboro, Georgia; Lisa Banks of Milledgeville, Georgia; Bernard Burks of Milledgeville, Georgia; Joi Hubbard of Stone Mountain, Georgia; James (Brenda) Banks of Macon, Georgia; and Sheneqa Banks of Milledgeville, Georgia.

He is also survived by members of his family on his father’s side, including Clifton and Diane Garrison, his uncle and aunt of Lumberton, North Carolina; Vernon (Elizabeth) Ames, cousin of Lawrenceville, Georgia; and Donald (Gwen) Ames, cousin of Montclair, New Jersey, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

The family kindly asks that friends and loved ones refrain from visiting the home at this time, as they take this period to grieve privately. Your prayers, understanding, and expressions of sympathy are sincerely appreciated.
