It is with a shout of joy and a grateful heart that I say, "See you in the morning" to all those I leave behind. For I knew that if this old earthly body gave out, I had a building from God, eternal in the heavens, not made by man's hands. I have overcome the world because my faith did not stand in the wisdom of man, but in the power of God. Thank you, Father, that by Your stripes I am healed.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Douglas E. Wright of Milledgeville, GA. He entered into rest on Monday, August 11, 2025.

His life will be celebrated on Friday, August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM with Graveside Services at Westview Cemetery in Milledgeville, GA.

Douglas is survived by two sisters, Patricia Jarrette and Ronchie Akbar, and one brother, Patrick Wright, all of Milledgeville, GA; and his life partner of many years, Beverly A. Walker.

Friends may visit the family at the residence of Ms. Patricia Jarrette, 1020 West Montgomery Street, Milledgeville, GA, between the hours of 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.
